@gameover Thank you for sharing. I’m in the midst of my reconstruction and thankful for those who share.

I am seeking things that are nostalgic from my childhood Faith I’m met with the “not like that” by people who taught me but disagree with how my faith has matured. It has stolen the child-like awe gifted to me in the infancy of my faith.

As I reconstruct I feel that what was lost coming back, but tethered to Jesus not me or my Church.

@mikegalsworthy I feel way better responding to strangers here than I have on any other social media platform and I don’t know why!
@ruud good morning!
@DrLindseyFitzharris could have gone a long time with out knowing this but now that I do I will store this information and vomit it out whenever my brain allows. 😅😅
@Sheril love this!

One of the world’s longest-running experiments has been going for 143 years!

In 1879, botanist William Beal wanted to find out how long seeds could remain viable underground. So he buried bottles with different kinds of seeds in a secret spot somewhere on the Michigan State University campus, knowing the experiment might outlive him.

It did! Every 20 yrs, a small group scientists still dig up the bottles and seeds continue to germinate 🌱 https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/21/science/beal-seeds-experiment.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare #science

How One of the World’s Oldest Science Experiments Comes Up From the Dirt

Every 20 years under the cover of darkness, scientists dig up seeds that were stashed 142 years ago beneath a college campus.
