looking back i can't believe that i was so worried about this but also i know that if i had come out a year ago, my parents wouldn't have been as open-minded as they are now. i think waiting to come out, despite the toll it took on me, was the best decision bc my parents needed time as well to prepare themselves to face what they suspected about me for years now
