So the new Instagram text thing is reported to have ActivityPub support and instead of being happy at all the new labor that could potentially be coming to the standard, Mastodon people are now actively encouraging instances to not federate with any of that stuff. K.

@wonkothesane @paul I believe it would be in their interest to make it compatible if the service from Instagram becomes really popular. Not from the get go though

@MonaApp Is it normal that when replying to a reply ofba post, the app is automatically jumping to the top of the replies list of that post? Annoying to have to scroll down again, maybe an issue on my part.
