No, I don't know what I'm doing, but I bet you don't either.
@elena Reading to your kid counts and frankly they NEED you to do that these days more than any.

Swearing can make us physically stronger: https://psycnet.apa.org/fulltext/2027-01514-001.html

The effect seems to be that swearing (and probably shouting) enhances focus and confidence, and allows us to overcome certain socially-imposed restraints.

@anolandria decentralized insurance policy. The problem was always centralized authority.
@Unixbigot Label everything unisex? If everything is one thing, then there is effectively no label.
@LilahTovMoon Gen A is already being raised by tablets in America to the point of having widespread learning disabilities. At this point... they're actually going to be dependent on AI assistance to make sense of the world. There's going to be a substantial number of kids today who are going to eventually see some sort of AR interface as essential as we currently make smartphones today, actively translating with whatever custom UI and personal slang lexicon their political group has developed.
@SeaFury Chips and a variety of mild "salsas" are good as long as you avoid dairy cheeses and creams. Fruits and fruit based pastries can be made without dairy too (nut milks and some types of oil/starch mixes can replace cow milk and eggs, though I forget the best combinations.) If you make a bunch of them in small portion sizes, they're like snack cakes.
@Natasha_Jay to be fair, those things clicked and clacked around like crazy when you handled them, and the use cases I'd heard of for them was mostly accountability (you'd have a big case like this of blank disks at a manager desk for making approved copies of a bunch of documents that could then be sent instead a stack of papers.) I'm sure they made for decent digitized filing cabinets too, though I've heard those kinds of disks had a high failure rate if used too frequently.
@rbreich We'll have that power when paramilitary groups decide to stop listening to the people paying them to make sure we don't just start ignoring the government they've got on indefinite lease and make our own government from whatever we have access to. Governments will ALWAYS BE the few organizing the many, that's what they are. Sometimes for good, often times for the perpetuity of the government and it's handlers, the constituent's be damned. The antithesis is decentralization.
@redsad Fake news, they hid the driver in the front and they got really upset when I tried to drive myself. Also there were several people I didn't know in there and if I was attractive, it could have been really dangerous!

George Clooney is an actor.

Put him in the role of a surgeon in front of a camera, and he will do and say things the average non-surgeon viewer will agree are surgeonish. After an hour of that, we are, as average non-surgeon viewers, satisfied and entertained.

Put him in an operating theatre, and the patient will fucking die because he's not a surgeon and knows nothing about really doing surgery.

This is a post about LLMs.
