What are you plans if one of your devices fail, (or if multiple fails simultaneously)? Do you have any "back up" devices to use while your "main" devices are being repaired/replaced?

What do you think about removable batteries on laptops?
How do you think smartphone companies will comply with EU's *Easily Replacible Battery* Law? Removable Back cover? Simple Screws? Or EU-Specific models?
I think 90% chance of apple going for the EU-Specific model just like they did for Digital markets act, 10 chance of screws, 0% chance of actually popping the back cover off with bare hands. For Samsung, 50% chance EU-Specific models 50% chance screws, 10% chance back cover tool-less removal. As for other smaller manufacturers, probably just 50%/50% either screws or tool-less back cover removal.
Have you ever watched a movie or tv show on a mobile device, or otherwise a low-end/low-quality display? What is your current display + sound setup for watching content?
When I was a teen, I would watch stuff mostly on my phone and sometimes a low-end laptop that’s like 1366x768 resolution, cuz that’s all I had. Now I have slightly better displays, I use headphones now, but still I’m probably not going to a movie theater any time soon, mostly because I’m not used to it, and also because the Post-Covid fear still lingers, not to mention, a crowd of too many people making me anxious, and various factors (mostly anxiety of other people, but also: yaRrr 🏴☠️). I mean, its just something I never experienced so its too much anxiety for me, and home viewing experience is more relaxing, even if it isn’t the IMAX experience. (btw: Does anyone actually enjoy theaters? 🤔)
I just realized that, due to EU's USB-C standardization, I as an Android user can't use the "I don't have an iPhone Charger" excuse anymore if someone asks.
God damn it, now I have to overtly say that “no, I don’t want anyone touching my phone charger” (The law is good, but this is just an unintended consequence of that 😓)
If humans can put cameras in the wild and animals will never know they're being watched. Then, an advanced alien civilization can just as well surveil us without any of us noticing.
Why can computers, like even very old laptops can seemingly get OS updates forever, while mobile devices hardly get a few years of updates before getting stuck out of date?
Even with android custom ROMs like Lineage, support eventually ends. Meanwhile, you can just slap on linux onto any old computer and its still getting the latest updates. 🤔 Why not just do the same thing with phones? Forever phone updates? 👀
When someone makes a suicial comment online, and it gets downvoted, what does the downvotes mean? Is that a "fuck off this forum"/"we collectively hate you"? Or is that a "Please don't kill yourself"?
Why do old people always seem angry? (I've never had a positive experience with old people, every grandparent or elderly relative always have insulting remarks about me)
Uncanny Resemblance...
