I had underestimated how much being unable to get my fursuit back was depressing me.
I guess I didn't want to admit it. It's just a *thing* right?
And yet looking in the mirror and seeing a FOX for once... It was something special. I'm so glad I may be able to get Reynard back.
Rumor has it that Reynard the Fox has escaped captivity in Oregon and will soon be headed for the Rhinelands! Be on the lookout for that sneaky fox!
(Yes, my fursuit is out of redelivery hell for now).
Any act that effectively frustrates evil without bloodshed is an act of great compassion. It is far better to smash machines than heads, far kinder to burn vehicles than corpses, far more defensible to hack servers than bodies.
Reflect on this. Bureaucratic evil is resource-intensive. The tools, energy, communications, and logistics of genocide and oppression present ten thousand weaknesses. You just have to find them.
I'm not going to complain about the rain because let's face it, March and the first half of April were much too dry. So dry, barges on the Rhine were carrying half as much cargo to compensate for the low water level.
But it has undeniably put a damper on my photography plans for the next few days.

I know I'm not alone in believing that borders should be open and immigration should be as easy as it was when my ancestors came from Sweden and Germany.
So why are we so atomized? Where is the movement for global freedom of movement? Why do we allow ourselves to be shamed out of being visible?
Spotted this handsome fellow yesterday afternoon! This is a Common Kestrel, a fairly widespread bird of prey across most of Europe and Asia. This part of Germany is in their year-round range.
