A post-Peter Gabriel outing by Genesis. Still in progressive rock mode but minus their virtuoso guitar god, Steve Hackett. I shudder to think of how awesome this already great album would have been had he been there. Still, really great late 1970s stuff.

There are so many Joni Mitchell albums worth having in one’s collection but if it came down to one… I would choose “Court and Spark”. Damn, it’s so freaking good.

Tom, In subsequent years I’ve seen that pressing out in the wild from time to time. Didn’t purchase because it was redundant. Now I almost wished I had.
