So many tech bros are coming at me right now arguing that yes, in fact, Windows users or Facebook users don't deserve privacy.
Busting out the bold markdown for this: you're wrong.
Everyone deserves privacy.

From The Irish Times, an article about the Venice Biennale and the Eurovision:
'Some 600km (372.8 miles) away at the Venice Biennale, the largest art platform in the world opens officially on Saturday. There, Israel’s artistic representative Belu-Simion Fainaru says he has been widely shunned by other artists.
A native of Bucharest, Fainaru’s work, Rose of Nothingness, is on show at the Arsenale while the official Israeli pavilion is undergoing renovations.
“I am talking to no one and am completely isolated. That hurts. Particularly as I am surrounded by people working for other pavilions,” he told Die Welt daily. “I believe in dialogue, and am used to it from earlier exhibitions, but whomever I turned to here to greet, they turn away from me. I have had interaction with not a single artist or curator at the Biennale....Fainaru, a sculptor and installation artist who moved to Israel as a teenager, said his Venice shunning reminded him of the 1940s, “when people like me were threatened, and everyone went along with it”.'
Imagine being so fucking entitled as to invoke the genocide of your own people as an excuse for being embarassed that decent folks snub you because of your support for a regime engaged in the genocide of another people...
forgive my language but
FUCK EUROVISION
and well done Ireland for boycotting it
Israel is an apartheid state and should be a pariah in any decent society, as South Africa was.

Thing I've been pondering:
Would you be less afraid of becoming disabled (or if you are already sick and burned out, less afraid of accepting you are disabled) if you frequently saw disabled people in your community getting good care, being included, and living meaningful lives?
