I have been completely bewitched by the Tseng Labs ET2000.
I noticed that my GB-1 card has a strange 19.6608Mhz crystal. That's not a strange number itself - it is an extremely common clock for baud rate generation.
It is exactly 65536 * 30, so a lot of useful clocks can be divided from it.
Most of the time you see a crystal on a video card it is used as a dot clock. This crystal is not a dot clock.*
**EDIT: turns out it actually can be selected as a dot clock too.
It is not a clock for the Z80 either, which is clocked at ~4MHz off the 16Mhz crystal. So what is it for?
