It’s a sizeable improvement over an already-solid first volume. The novel’s conclusion aligns with episode 7 of anime (confusingly adapted as #ningenfushin) and provides a lot more context and meaning than the series does. #lightnovel #anime

It’s been a while since I read a real book 😆.

Halfway through and I’m not sure what I think except that it reminds me of a Tom Clancy novel, sometimes comparing favorably, sometimes not. Is it compelling because of the writing or because of the topic (the Mexican drug trade)?

I have 250 pgs left to decide.

I watched the Kaguya-sama movie last night (right next to these lovely cosplayers) and enjoyed it very much. Here's a bit of my thoughts:

"The First Kiss That Never Ends delivers the laughs and engaging animation of the TV series while inserting a romantic and thoughtful story, making it big enough and, like its leads, brave enough to deserve the grander stage of a theatrical film release."

I have relationships with Yen Press and Viz Media and then send me my requests. But even if you don’t have direct partnerships, you can obtain review copies from those companies and others through NetGalley and Edelweiss. #manga #lightnovel
