@hotdogsladies as you seem to be on an Austerlitz tear at the moment here are some pics from 2013 of the annual re-enactment on the actual battlefield.
You can see the tiny chapel on the hill where Napoleon prayed after the battle.
I was there recording FX for a BBC Radio version of War and Peace.

I’ve just been down a Cymande rabbit hole. (iconic British Rare Groove band from the early 70s in case you’re not familiar). I was trying to find a video to help me learn a couple of their bass lines and found that they’ve re-formed and did a mind blowing 2016 radio session that was filmed.
