I'm a rather experienced developer in multiple languages, mainly Java and Rust.
I also do some music production and 3D modelling in Blender, since I am working on a game with @devellight, but I'm mostly working on some side projects at the time... My OS of choice is GNU/#Linux (NixOS to be precise), I'm using it for everything I do for about 6 years and I've gathered a lot of experience doing so.
Programming languages (most->less used)Rust, Java, Python, C++ , Kotlin

@linkachus17 KDE Powerdevil is (according to my knowledge) a power consumption control appllication. Are you running into this problem on a laptop by any chance? Also the main issue seems to be powerdevil trying to access some i2c devices (screen backlight?), so I guess the fix would be to change the permissions. This may be done by either adding a group (i2c according to the ArchWiki) to your user or by adding some udev rules.
@darkghosthunter @UniversalBlue Well I've been running Linux on a whole variety of laptops (ThinkPad X280, two HP ones, Tuxedo with dedicated NVidia graphics) and had no problems at all, besides the mute button light not working on one of the HP ones. The only one of those "certified" to run Linux is the Tuxedo one.
@waldschnecke Does money grow on trees? Is it the fault of System67 that this law is being made? No it's not. And as long as money does not grow on trees, you simply can't just violate law and get fined to a really high amount. They have a stance against this, but they financially can't just ignore it and actively violate it. Also age verification (if you read the bill) does not involve showing your id or scanning your face. Just a simple date selector for your age would be enough.
