They say, you know, them, that the only way to beat burnout is to Create your way out. But what if you are no longer of the prevailing belief that more human creations coming to be is a good thing?

Theory: people started smiling in photographs at exactly the same time that the “entertained to death” era of culture/consumption began.

Instead of wanting to appear solemn and powerful, people wanted to look like they were having more fun than everyone else. It was an irrevocable shift in values.

In a universe devoid of meaning, it’s quirky that humans arrange themselves into societies where 40% of people feel hopeless as well.

Come to think of it, perhaps the humans of the internet collectively saw the AI-pocalypse on the horizon and understood the assignment: publish no good ideas, turn the internet into a steaming garbage pit, and let the data scrapers choke on it.

No match for human stupidity.

I didn’t think it was possible to feel more discouraged, yet here I am.
If you ever run into someone who swears the human world isn’t built on exploitation, ask them for a blank check.
@Chrishallbeck you too eh
I can’t sleep, I’m frustrated that I can’t sleep, and I am full to the brim with ideas worth not sharing.
What I meant to say was “damn it all.”

Sometimes I feel like I choose the hard path.

I try to explain complex things to people in my life who with great certainty will not understand them, when I could have been giving lectures by now to auditoriums of people who with great certainty will understand them on a normalized curve.
