As a photographer who loves 2:3 ratio, having to crop or add obnoxious borders to photos for Instagram was really frustrating, and photos I did that to never performed well. Well, I just remembered masto doesn’t do that, so I’m excitedly posting my least well received/most disliked piece, cause fvckit lol. Also, this is a rare self-portrait, because I really don’t like being in front of the camera lol.

I happened to export my full list of ~54K #birdsite followers as of 10/27 (the day Musk took over). I've been tracking exactly 50,000 of them ever since via @debirdify.

As of this evening, 3.2% have deleted their accounts, and at least 3.7% have set up Mastodon/CS accounts.

One drag queen did more to stop the gunman in Colorado than hundreds of cops could do in Texas. We should put one drag queen at every school, clearly kids would be safer.

Edit: Correction, I'm now reading that it was a trans woman not a drag queen. Still, an unarmed veteran and a trans woman did what 346 cops with a $4 million budget couldn't handle in Texas.
