@gday back when I was renting, we asked the landlord to put in insulation. They installed air-conditioning instead. Better than nothing.

@gday we switched to heat pump hws a few months ago. Kitchen being ripped out now, and will have induction cooktop in the new one. Hasn't been cheap, but feels worth it.
