POTS diagnosis confirmed today. It’s a relief. Of course I then got to deal with OMG condescension from the specialist. But we have the beginning of a treatment plan. Hoping for improvement in quality of life.

@Waterlylly they strap you to a table at the thighs and chest and then raise the table to vertical for 20 min. So if you have knee problems the pressure of the strap at the thigh is the issue, well at least for me. Ow.

Todays the day… tilt table test. Had to track down dry ice for the blood samples. Dry ice is weird. Hate that it feels like so much is riding on this test. Chronic illness patients now the weirdness of wishing for an abnormal test result. Sigh. #dysautnomia #spoonieLife #lookingForAnswers

I would never say that nerve conduction testing is the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. It’s not even close. But my dominant arm is definitely out of commission for anything nor an absolute requirement the rest of the day. OUCH. #dysautnomia #spoonieLife #thisSucks #dontWanna

@skrulls those older all metal models are amazing. Mom wasn’t sure I’d want her “ancient” machine that’s older than I am. That “ancient” machine sews through leather, multiple layers of fabric, pretty much anything my costuming heart desires. I don’t need a computerized, 100+ different stitch machine. 😎 I have a starter Brother as a backup when baby’s in the shop but I never use it otherwise.

@skrulls Singer 403 Slant O Matic courtesy of my mother. Love it, always find a good repair shop when I move to a new town to keep my baby in good shape. My Ex tried to abscond with it. TRIED. LOL.
