🎉 We’re excited to officially announce our partnership with @theIPregistry! We’re working together to make it easier for customers to update IP addresses for access authentication, ensuring a more efficient and secure way to manage content access.

📢 Librarians – You can now report all IP updates directly via theIPregistry.org! ✅

We're thrilled that Brill Publishing has extended use of theIPregistry.org data to include digital products hosted on platforms using the LibLynx Identity and Access Management system. This ensures consistency in the data used to authenticate access and report usage for organisations submitting data via theIPregisry.org.

🚀 We’re now working with @theIPregistry to introduce a new service that simplifies the process of updating IP addresses for access authentication. This means a more efficient and secure way to manage content access for our customers!

📢 Librarians – Have you confirmed your IPs? Make sure your access is set up correctly by visiting theIPregistry.org today! ✅

Does this imply that access to licensed content for universities is exclusively based on ip origin and not on things like SSO?
@jesusmargar @ems_press
Hi - it's one of the options. We don't believe that EMS has any intention of removing any options currently available. If you use IP authentication it will now be much easier to update the IP addresses used for this!

@theIPregistry @ems_press

Ah, I wasn't thinking of EMS in particular. I'm just surprised that is a method of authentication at all. Although it may explain why my university, which pays access to Mathscinet, stopped having access to it directly from campus unless we use the SSO option. I may let them know.
