Had an absolute blast volunteering at @bsides312 this past Saturday. Thanks to everyone involved for putting the event together for making such a great space to meet so many awesome people. Excited to be a part of it again next year! #BSides312 #bsides
Has anyone had issues with Host Gator (I know, trying to move off of it ASAP) not properly committing DNS Record changes. Made changes nearly three days ago and so far nothing.
@bsides312 Out of curiosity, when do you usually reach out to people who filled out the volunteer form? Would love to be there one way or another but want to make sure not to miss out on tickets if the volunteer staff has already been sorted.

Realizing that after years of being forced to use social media to interact mainly with customers or post advertisements for the businesses that I worked in that it may be time for me to revisit being more active on a personal level.

The #infosec community posts that I have seen so far have been very helpful in steering me around while I try and learn what i need to learn.

Wondering if there are any thoughts on the best ways to interact with the community as someone who is trying to break into the field (a cliche, I know). I feel like being better about keeping and updating a blog / cross posting as I learn new things is a step in the right direction. Perhaps?

Spent the holiday break setting up a decommissioned Dell T320 with TrueNAS Scale and trying to dive into Kubernetes and Traefik plus what felt like 100 or so other things.

Feeling I gotta narrow down my scope of what I want to learn instead of trying to do it all at once.
