Thank you to all who have shared this.
Beezus has a home!
She was adopted a few weeks ago by a neighbor’s mom who was recently widowed and looking for some companionship. I’m told she’s doing wonderfully in her new home and her new mom is absolutely in love with her.
My kid crushed her #cosplay at SacAnime this weekend. She did so much of it herself from woodworking to sewing and was super proud.
Tons of great reactions too.
(She was Zanka from Gachiakuta and got to meet the voice actor).
Beezus was probably born feral and never interacted with humans until we caught her and her kittens. She was skittish and very wary when they first came to us.
I had an inkling she might come around when we took her to the vet the first time and she would reluctantly accept being pet while confined in her carrier.
Six months later she has become a total cuddlebug and is trying to make up for lost time getting affection from humans.
Still time for a few more, but cool to see all that I've read this year.
All the “I didn't vote for this" folks are deluded and need to be reminded of that.
They 100% voted for this. They voted for cruelty and chaos, they just wanted it to affect people other than themselves.
Until they recognize that, they will keep trying to hurt others. If you want a change, you need to start with some empathy.
My BookWrym (@[email protected]) feed posts an image with a rating when I start or finish a book. FYI this isn't my rating of the book but the average rating on BookWrym.
I don't rate books. There are books I adore and books I don't click with, but assigning a 1 to 5 rating just doesn't feel right to me.
Authors puts tons of work and passion into their books and IMHO distilling that down to a star rating does a disservice. Sometimes I'll share my feelings on specific titles, but I won't score them.
