The new GUNSHIP album is straight fire. I'm loving every second of it.

I'm all taken care of now, thanks everyone! @tgourley.bsky.social is me. Now I can compare the "big three" microblog/short message services.

So far I get better personal engagement here on Mastodon (and it's still my favorite), but Threads has been good for keeping up with celebs, etc. I'm curious to see how Bluesky fits in the equation.

Does anyone have a Bluesky invite they could send? I've been on the waitlist forever and it'd be fun to check it out.

It's Bandcamp Friday! It's the best time to support your favorite musicians by getting their music. You can download my latest EP here: https://timgourley.bandcamp.com/album/siren-song-ep If you like synth-pop, synthwave, and funky synthesizers doing their things, this one is for you.

That feeling when you have an idea and a chord progression that is absolute fire, but haven't produced it into anything yet. The possibilities are endless and it is both glorious and intimidating.
The great Tony Bennett has passed away at the age of 96. He was the last of his kind, a master of the American songbook. He may have left his Heart in San Francisco, but he won all of our hearts, from Sinatra to Lady Gaga. Be at peace, and sing to us now from the stars, Tony.
Some people take the day off work to play the latest video game. Would it be weird to take the day off when the new #Gunship album drops?

I really broke out of my comfort zone this week for my Logic Pro class @ Berklee Online. I ended up recording bass guitar for a track. While I was super nervous about it, I was happy with the end result. It sounds awesome!

After class is done I'll probably dump a bunch of music on streaming services for everyone to hear.

I need to be nicer to myself. I got A’s on my recent keyboard assignments, but I got a few notes wrong and I keep beating myself up over it. They fit the chords so I didn’t notice when handing it in. Oh well.
