I actually bought a cute little ceramic folding knife for exactly this purpose. As a result, I have discovered that you can cut yourself with ceramic blades, but when used carefully, they do make blister packs more accessible.

America won't even protect our children from bullets, why would we protect them from peanuts or viruses?

I keep anxiously checking the news to see if he's dead yet.

Sure. https://www.azeron.eu/
I bought one almost a year ago and I love it. I chose the Cyborg compact, but they have several models. They're 3d printed to order, so you can customize the colors quite a bit.

More and more, I'm coming to believe that money is the problem with everything. Everything around us is about money. Nearly everything would be better if we weren't constrained by the need for some people to make a profit. There are almost no public spaces anywhere that aren't, sooner or later, about money.
@halcionandon @chronicillness I know that sounds shallow, but we have such limited energy. It's dangerous to our mental health to let ourselves get tangled in sorrow. Yes, we'd love to be healthy. Yes, there are many things we wish we could do. Yes, there is mourning for what we've lost. But. This is our life now. This is what we have, so we have to be thoughtful about how to use our limited time and energy.

@halcionandon @chronicillness I've been ill for quite a while now, and would have to say that the mental game is one of the most crucial aspects of living as well as possible with chronic illness. Most especially, you have to learn how to manage your thoughts and emotions, and avoid getting into these cosmic "why me" spirals, because they're never going to serve you.

Instead, I cultivate distraction and denial. Just enjoy yourself as well as you can, and focus on your immediate needs.

He walked in, said what he was going to say, and walked out. I don't think I've ever seen anyone do it so cleanly.
