#plotterart @pixelambacht RGB (-ish) color swathces on black(-ish) paper, to see how it blends. Quite satisfied, actually. Pens are not 'pure/spectral' red, green or blue. Pattern created using @drawBot

@andrewt I was looking at your code for Celtix, and I thought this was a very big-brain way of getting an even spread of colours.

Is this how English schools teach their pupils to communicate?! A mail from a pupil of the Great Marlow School in the UK:

“why is there a coffin, pillow and other useless shapes and not a regular box with a pyramid on top. i need a big ben for my school project but theres no shapes for it or even similar to it. ADD A BIG BEN AND A ROYAL MAIL VAN.”

#typography So, I've made about an odd dozen of 'single stroke' svg/otf fonts. Using fontforge + adobe type tools + python + FontLab8. I need to renew my FontLab license 💸 . Or, does anybody know an alternative to FontLab8 that handles SVG/OTF fonts even better?
"serveersuggestie" toch?
Does anybody know if I'm missing something obvious with #prettymaps ? Should I add some code to the examples on GitHub to see anything? When I run it, either in Pycharm or from the terminal, no map or graph or picture is shown. Just error messages, but different ones.
I made another thing! 3D pop up butterfly card, based on https://jennifermaker.com/diy-pop-butterfly-card-tutorial-easy-5-x-7/ with colours chosen by my daughter. I wouldn’t say it was the easiest though and took several hours! Envelope custom sized from @templatemaker #craft #paperCraft #sillouetteCameo #cuttingMachine

FreeCAD for Makers — HackSpace magazine

FreeCAD is the number one free software 3D design program, and this PDF guide is the best way to get started with it. We'll take you from absolute beginnner to advanced user, going from the basics of drawing a line and making it 3D all the way to parametric design, importing objects from photographs, designing for sheet metal, and loads more. Because FreeCAD is free software, its users can add to it, writing extensions to the software to suit their needs. These add-ons, known as workbenches, cover a range of uses, including PCB design, pipes, timber-framing, architectural design… the list of practical use cases goes on and on. So, whatever you’re interested in building, you’ll find a FreeCAD workbench for it.
