This might be the single best article I've read about the impact of LLMs on coding. The good, the bad, the ugly, the absolute unrelenting horror of how everything is changing so fast.

Hundreds fired at NOAA. The strategy that climate chaos isn't real if there's no data to prove it might not play out so well on the ground. Impacts and suffering will only be more severe without crucial forewarnings on droughts, hurricanes & floods - not to mention ocean heatwaves and health.
