A neighbouring house is uninhabited, recently sold, and pending a knock down / rebuild. There's a full size, fruit-laden olive tree there about to be collateral damage.

Before I crack out a Bunnings-sized bucket of brine, how do I tell if it's edible (apparently there are ornamental varieties?), and ready for harvest?

Another @homeassistant thing I did today was to extend the "Washing is done" automation to tell us how many kWh the cycle used. Helps us learn what the different modes cost in energy.

On the first day of Christmas, we put 102km in the bank, on an absolutely perfect morning.

Just 398km to go before NYE if we want to grab the Strava Festive 500 badge, because nothing says motivation like fake internet points.

Extremely happy with the result considering I hadn't touched the bike since ~March, and yesterday I was scraping surface rust off some parts.
