@atpfm @caseyliss @marcoarment @siracusa Regarding text editor follow-up, I went on a long search for one a few years back and landed on CotEditor (https://coteditor.com/).

It appears to be a BBEdit meets TextMate rip-off, but is open-source, fully Mac-native, lightweight, very performant, and rather tasteful in its UI. Also, it's being actively maintained.

Well worth a look!
