@YorksBylines remember the pay board is not independent it has to respond to its remit letter which gave them the three year NHS budget that nurses pay had to fit within & a caveat that the award reduce national inflation.

@rbreich as a union rep I lost count of how many expensive and unlawful mistakes i stopped the bosses making over the years. Also how many money saving/making ideas were fed through. Musk could have done with listening to a union rep or two.
@goodlawproject tory propagandists pretending to be independent experts has to end. The media also should be required to label them for what they actually are when interviewing.
@goodlawproject what about gas lighting? They have people believing the rich need a tax cut while the poor need a pay cut.

@SimonB being heavily involved in rugby development in Uganda I am excited by the concept of rugby across the timezones covering Europe and Africa.
However i would love within that tiered competitions coming from more regional forms. So the top competion perhaps Irish Champions, Scottish, Welsh, English, French, South Africans, Italians. All defined by highest placed within URC or domestic leagues. For stronger nations top two or even top 4. 16 teams in 4 groups being ideal.
@upbristol I think the development of time zone/longitude concept could be huge for the game. That 10° West to 30° East includes the fastest growing rugby regions and growing markets.
Africa is seeing exponential growth in rugby and smart business to include the continent looking forwards.
A rebrand might be in order though
@SimonB the current format is making things hard to judge as it is possible to sacrifice a game and still progress. So far it looks like more URC teams are competitive with top French and English sides.
@brianmoore666 we live an age where hateful bile seems profitable click bait. The sheer concept that someone could write that and share without deep shame shows that morals have been sold by the media in the UK. But where is the reaction of the supposed moral majority?
Made the move after getting so frustrated at spending two days of blocking and muting either right wing gaslighting or inane garbage. Felt like old Canute and the tide (though that is a mostly miss-told tale as he was trying to prove that a king could NOT command the tide).

@brianmoore666 how about also means testing it. So the richer they are the less they get. Same for Ministers. Anyone with other incomes over 100k or assets worth over 500k get nothing.
