@jasperb I would start so don't install over win 11 to unplug the windows drive before install attempt. Download a mint image and write it to a at least 4GB thumb drive then unplug windows drive then plug in thumb drive and install on the second drive. Since win 11 is not good for a dual boot anymore you may just have to do it that way every time switching drives plugs.

@ethauvin I don't see the number of distros a problem. I see maybe not having people recommend an easier distro or use distro sea.
@alexkidman loaded pop on a 2012 MacBook pro works fine mostly
@recorosado found it weird they choose fedora to base the EU OS on since Europe governments seem on the fence about the US. Encourage them to think about what nation was born of freedom although we may have let the left take some of that away

@socprof well maybe when creators got word to use ai for Linux. I watch good channels that have an actual person doing the impression and news updates
@mrbones909 maybe that is my issue with kde freezes and problems with nvidia GPU. If I was more confident I would try tomorrow
