It sounds good. A lot of loud fun! Look at the spledour of spaghetti wiring. I even made a control panel.
I have made the PIPP limiter on a separate board and it is pleasingly symmetrical or would’ve been if I had built it more carefully
Nearly nearly finished this build, but I haven’t left room for the PIPP limiter, overshoot compensator or the 15kHz filter
I have made a nearly integrated circuit
The wildest and most "out there" feature in this audio processor is, of all things, the master stereo gain control which is the 10k multiturn pot in the middle of this schematic. Yes, a single track variable resistor and no, it isn't a DC volume control.
Nearly ready to test the AGC board.
Got the AGC section of the Inovonics David 3 done. It looks fine, can’t wait for the whole board to be covered. I have no idea if it will fit!
More chips, more better.
Pondering what to do with a nice chunky 2.048MHz crystal from a broken HP 3764A, I decided to make it generate 1216kHz for further Inovonics experiments. Their old gear often used this frequency as a master clock. #electronics
My recent toot of a strange keyboard on a frequency response analyser reminded me that my HP dynamic signal analyser also has alpha keys but without four shift keys. Instead it’s more like a reverse Sinclair ZX keyboard where the letters are the context sensitive second function
