Terminology Services for NFDI (TS4NFDI) - Unleashing the potential of service applications

The envisaged Basic Service Terminology Services 4 NFDI (TS4NFDI) aims to standardize and harmonize terminology management within NFDI, thereby facilitating consensus-building and interoperability of services across disciplines to achieve a shared knowledge representation and knowledge engineering framework. The service seeks to integrate and converge individual solutions into a standardized, interoperable, and sustainable service suite with Service Wrapper, API Gateway, mapping service, and re-usable GUI widgets. This talk will provide an overview of the planned tasks for the initialization phase. A workflow for integrating components of terminology services directly into a service application, such as annotation and semantic search, will be presented.
