If you're ready for some armchair travel, here is a list to take you all over the world.
I have created a list, published today but a long time in the making, of books on my blog categorized by country. For the most part, I've picked books with a strong sense of place.
Read the article that introduces the list, and explore the list for yourself. I would be delighted to hear from you, especially suggestions for books from countries not on the list.

This week's book review and the last for 2022: Guyanese writer Edgar Mittelholzer's My Bones and My Flute, a ghost story set in British Guiana in the 1930s.
The book is also a social commentary on the Guianan society at the time. Enjoyed it.
The list of best books read in 2022 is up! With a long list of contributors, the list is long and varied.
Check it out! You might find something you want to read or give as a Christmas present. There really is something for everyone.
