As a break from the politics, and after finally getting everything to work today, here's a barely-disguised rant on why I moved away from Google Chrome to Mozilla Firefox.

I updated my drivers and now it seems like Nvidia, Ubuntu, and Firefox are finally getting along! That means I can pretty much abandon Chrome entirely now, since I don't need it for things like WhatsApp Web anymore. \o/

Addendum: Shortly after I wrote this, the Attorney General wrote a letter to the Prime Minister, warning that the National Security Minister is illegally using his position to politicize the police, in violation of the terms set for him to have the position. I somewhat doubt anything will come of it, but people are definitely noticing what's happening.

Further thoughts as the story develops: If Herzog gets Netanyahu to agree to step down as PM and to stop the judicial reform, that's better than nothing, but ideally the trial should still continue to completion.
A pardon for Netanyahu is absolutely not the best way to heal the rift in Israeli society.
