@MichalBryxi Isn't is amazing how TS evangelists don't get this. And those that do get it are shunned like @dhh did when they announce going TS free?
So many times I;ll write a 5 line function in JS in 10 minutes then spend hours attempting to duck-punch the function into TypeScript.
The real scary part is while coding JS I find myself preemptively adding TS as I type and then surprise myself realizing this is JS.
Personal rule: When I do code changes just to "satisfy the machine", I add git comment "TS gods". This way I can slightly more objectively gauge on how much time did this technology steal from me already.
Variation on famous proverb: When #TypeScript errors out, but the code does what it's supposed to do, did it really error out?

Community member, @sukima, implemented a XML viewer, editor, and formatter..

@sil @nolan @tomayac as a professional developer of ridiculously complicated web apps, I can with extreme prejudice say that anything the platform can do to *remove tooling* would be a good thing for my teams development.

Tooling is without doubt the biggest drag on the JS ecosystem today. I spent a disproportionate amount of time making transpiling, bundling, testing and debugging work reliably and every 'upgrade' brings a new suite of weird bugs and time sink.

@drsensor does Go have a printf like function that can interpolate with the classic %s format?
@cferdinandi Bummer. I struggle figuring out how to apply my unique point of view to the wider industry. I got a lot to give and noone wants. The tech industry is so hard and toxic these days. If it counts I feel your struggle. Best I can offer is empathy and compassion.
