Love photography, taking photos and seeing those taken by others. Balance-challenged so not as nimble as I used to be.
Lovely clear night outside but a tad nippy, with a wind chill taking the temperature down to -3°C in the NNE wind. The waning gibbous Moon is wonderfully clear. This is just an iPad edit, cropped in. I’ll process it properly on my pc tomorrow. #Moon #Sussex
Short walk with Polly (in the photo) and Kinsey, our Cocker Spaniel, around the lake at tiny Hailsham Country Park this morning. Nice to see Hedge Woundwort still in flower, plus some Dog Sick (not Vomit) Slime Mould. Having a dog who is Autumn leaf coloured means the lead is an advantage, or we’d never find her!

This afternoon’s (16.49) First Quarter Moon over East Sussex. A moment between heavy clouds, so I count myself lucky to have been able to capture it. OM1, 100-400 at 400mm, F8, -3ev, 1/250, tripod. iPad edit (minimal).

I love walking by the sea when the air is filled with spindrift and the sound of crashing waves.
Tonight wind surrounds the house, howling as it circles. Walls shake, air flows through door and windows frames, making divisions between inside and outside feel uncertain, in motion. #Shetland #wave #storm #stormy #weather #wind
@CatherineMunro The colour is gorgeous ☺️.
It was a nice sunny morning for a walk at Pound Common, Chailey in Sussex today. Fungi are appearing at last, now we’ve had some steady rain. It felt (and certainly feels tonight!) very Autumnal. 🍁🍄🍂

Last night’s Moon, looking lovely as she popped out from behind clouds. Very windy night.

Minimal editing on iPad in Photos.

@bryanhansel I saw one being ridden on a pedestrian-only pavement in my town yesterday. Hulking great thing going very fast. Heaven help any pedestrians who were trying to walk in their own designated space.
Wyming Brook looked quite nice yesterday - good to see a decent volume of water running through this year compared to last #peakdistrict #derbyshire
