@jnichols36 @bbq @Ken @DanSaysThat yeah, earlier editions of the game were almost incomprehensible, and sometimes even contradictory, at times. 5th edition is so streamlined, and very friendly to the uninitiated.

mcneelyTo this extent I'm really interested to know how the age breakdown of people on the #Fediverse. On one hand it would seem to make sense to me that most people here remember the "old internet" before the centralization and they're here to rekindle that flame of independence. On the other hand the youths are generally pretty up on this whole technology thing. I grew up on the internet and since then smartphones have become even more ubiquitous.

@DanSaysThat @Ken @jnichols36 monthly at my place with the same group since '05, and weekly online with some distant college/Internet friends. I DM both games. I don't *love* online, but it's nice for regular gaming with folks you don't live near
