Just finished John E. Williams’s 1960 novel “Butchers Crossing” last night. Fantastic, just blazed through the last 40% or so yesterday. It’s a great look at nihilism and finding purpose through the lens of 1800’s buffalo skin hunters. Horrific and beautiful. Solid 8/10. #literature #books
