Macaulay Rd protected bike lanes from Boundary Rd to Langford St now exist. It's only one block but it looks like a good start.

It's great to see this project finally get to construction after years of delays by DTP.

Noting for other purposes - These will be approximately two-metre-wide bike lanes created by removing parking on one side of the road.

The state can easily adopt bike lane design guidelines (which are sitting on the Minister's desk) for Strategic Cycling Corridors, and require councils to comply with them, which would stop Elizabeth Street from being downgraded. https://streets-alive-yarra.org/journal/movement-and-place-guides/
