Sarah ☭Hey don't put content warnings for things like "homosexuality mention" or "sex worker mention" just mentioning we exist shouldn't be put behind a content warning. That's incredibly dehumanizing.
Good CWs would be along the lines of "homophobia example" or "anti-sex worker discourse" where you're warning about things that could trigger/upset gay ppl or sex workers. Sex workers existing and being ppl isn't triggering unless you're a shitty person. Sorry but I saw a CW for "sex worker mention" :/

petefires are very common in my country and politics (capitalism actually) had a big role in it, however, today was something that i have never seen. Entire families being burnt alives in their cars, lots of villages destroyed and what not. I will make a thread about it in the future, just not today. Today we mourn the victims and help the firefighters. 62 people lost their life :(
nañiI'm sad. It seems like everyday I log on to twitter there's a new story about someone dying bc they're black, Muslim, a woman, lgbtq+ or all of those things combined. I feel hopeless like there's nothing I can do to help or stop it? And I wish I could. Like I really do. My heart literally hurts right now. I can't imagine what the families feel.

This is a difficult favor to ask. We all know that sexuality doesn't just turn on on your 18th birthday, but the laws aren't always so sensitive. It would be really awful if m.s had to shut down because we were hosting publicly-visible sexual content from posters 17 and younger.

Yesterday seattle police killed black woman, Charleena Lyles, after she called reporting someone breaking into her home. She was gunned down by the police in front of her three children. Immediately after the officers involved were put on paid leave.
