Yann Tambour is a singer/classical guitar player who experiments with the kora, a West-African harp on which he developed his own playing technique, and of which he designed and built his own personal versions. Instrument making and a singular approach to the singer-songwriter mode are at the root of Stranded Horse. Since 2012 he has toured extensively with Senegalese kora virtuoso Boubacar Cissokho. The pair are due to release a duo album on April 4th 2025.

TOURNÉE | @strandedhorse avec Boubacar Cissokho, riches de chansons neuves, se produiront ici et là, juste avant la sortie d’un album début avril chez @talitres. On est bien contents de retrouver ces chansons d’angle, chansons de troubadour, de griot ou d’ancien post punk immolé dans des horizons autrement turquoises. La musique de ce duo, c’est une de ses grâces nombreuses, fabrique des espaces ouverts, accueillants, habitables, à l’intérieur d’un monde qui en manque toujours un peu plus.
