Yann Tambour is a singer/classical guitar player who experiments with the kora, a West-African harp on which he developed his own playing technique, and of which he designed and built his own personal versions. Instrument making and a singular approach to the singer-songwriter mode are at the root of Stranded Horse. Since 2012 he has toured extensively with Senegalese kora virtuoso Boubacar Cissokho. The pair are due to release a duo album on April 4th 2025.
