Meanwhile #Sudan is living ‘the most devastating humanitarian and displacement crisis in the world’. This is happening because of 'an almost unimpeded supply of weapons into Sudan by states and corporate actors around the world' like #Turkiye, #Russia, #Serbia, #China or #UAE United Arab Emirates. 13 millions people have been moved by force. 30 millions require humanitarian assistance. 45% of the inhabitants does not have access to enough food. https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/research/2024/07/new-weapons-fuelling-the-sudan-conflict/

Bravo to the state of #Spain and Pedro Sanchez for their courageous and ethical position, and clear reminder of the history (like Irak), refusing to be part of the illegal attacks of the USA and Israel (again) against #Iran. USA and Israel are killing innocents civilians (again) for imperialism reasons. European countries should have all followed this basic principle against such attacks and unit with Spain. Thank you #Spain

Spain’s Pedro Sánchez, on the US and Israeli attack on Iran: ‘No to war, we are not going to be complicit’

The Spanish prime minister responded to Donald Trump’s threats of a trade embargo: ‘Some will say that this is naive. What is naive is to think that violence is the solution. Or to think that blind and servile obedience is leadership’

Access to drinking water is human dignity and a human right. #Israel discriminatory policies restrict access to adequate supplies of clean and safe water on #Palestine territories for about 50 years. The occupation by Israel started a while ago. https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/campaigns/2017/11/the-occupation-of-water/
The Occupation of Water

The legacy of Israel’s 50-year occupation of the Palestinian territories has been systematic human rights violations on a mass scale. One of its consequences is the impact of Israel’s discriminatory policies on Palestinians’ access to clean and safe water.
