Is it me, or are there features missing from the Mastadon app? I couldn't figure out how to edit a post, and replacing a profile header image isn't a thing?
This could very well be me failing to get how it works, but this stuff seems clear on the site.
If your thing supports 2FA (and it really should), please use OTP instead of SMS. It's more secure, and I won't have to ask my wife to send me the code on accounts that don't support multiple usernames for login. 😤
The next couple of months are going to be a really amazing time to be a social media researcher.

Just finished Tim Wu's "The Curse of Bigness" and now all I want is for some serious revival of antitrust enforcement. There are a lot of monopolies and oligopolies that could use a trimming around here.
