I need some help with emulating a device in QEMU. I've successfully extracted the firmware and compiled a custom Linux 5.4.161 kernel for an arm7l device. Now, I'm trying to run it in a VM using QEMU, but I'm having trouble getting it to work.
If anyone has experience with QEMU and can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it! I'm specifically looking for guidance on how to properly set up the VM to run my custom kernel and firmware.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide! #QEMU #LinuxKernel #arm7l #Virtualization #HelpNeeded
For Jozi hackers and adjacent, we’re having the first #0xC0FFEE of the year tomorrow night (Mon Feb 27th). 7pm @ Milk Bar Sandton
We’ve added a presentation at the start. Tomorrow will be kick started by South Africa’s OG hacker @Roeloftemmingh showing us what magic we can do with Vortimo.
We’ve moved to a Monday night since the quiz made it difficult to hear eachother. It’s at the same place.
All welcome. See you there!
OK... This one was interesting.
Installed powershell and executed pwsh -command "Write-Host 'hello'"
and it output it as if it was indeed processed by pwsh.
