Dems ran a candidate who led wage reform, had fought wage theft, chaired the White House Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment, launched the Economic Opportunity Coalition, boosted unions, and whose resume and VP portfolio centered labor and the working class.

There are a lot of people invested in selling voters a different story and we all need to be entirely suspicious of them.
