@dsfgs @seasiders2 It's obvious that that's what needs to happen now. The unions needed to organise when #TurnbullMalcolm and #MrKRudd got together to organise against #RupertMurdoch. It could have been the beginning of the end for Murdoch in Australia. As it's turned out we see #Albo offering #Rudd his rightful place in the seat of power and privilege hoping this will shut him up on #Murdoch. We are at this point unclear on how it will progress. If anyone has any influence in the #ACTU we should find a way of re-igniting the traditions of the Wapping dispute in Australia. #itstime

@dsfgs @seasiders2 A good response. Seasiders. For me DSFGS, I've actually witnessed it all before. I was living in London when #RupertMurdoch came into town under #MargaretThatcher & they used that as a tool to smash up the trade union movement using Murdoch's paper as a trojan horse. People like me went in our thousands to try to protect the rights of unionists to organise and of the union to protect basic rights & pay.
