Now that I have my first iPad with cellular, I understand why so many people have been begging for cellular Macs for years.
Having native cellular support is soooooo much better than tethering. It's faster, doesn't kill your phone battery, more reliable, etc.

An iPadOS 26.1 feature in testing that hasn't been enabled in builds yet:
SpringBoard itself has a system menu bar, with quick access to a bunch of things, including shut down and restart, screenshots, homescreen editing and more. Combined with the previous 'Control Center on External Displays' unreleased feature, I hope that they're slowly building towards clamshell mode for iPad…

I finally called Apple Support and resolved my AppleCare One problem. It is as I suspected: AppleCare One does not correctly handle multiple user accounts in macOS. This is a known issue. No ETA for a fix.
The solution? Cancel AppleCare One and sign up for individual warranties for the devices that were covered under AppleCare One. These new plans will cost me more than AppleCare One and more than I was paying for the plans they had before I signed up for AppleCare One.

I've found and fixed the bug that's causing sync problems with the latest release.
I'm submitting an update to Apple in a few minutes, and will hopefully have it in the App Store within the next day or so.
