I create sounds, I produce electronic and experimental music, and I'd love to combine all of that in UX design projects.

#uxdesign #sounddesign #music

Best time of the year when the only tech podcast with 3 hosts that comes out on a Thursday is finally out. Not many episodes but then again there’s nothing else to listen to all year. @jsnell @johnvoorhees @jamesthomson

Did you know that Mario and Luigi were one of the first themeable UI element? Born from tight technological constraints, they helped pave the way for a whole new era of flexible, customizable design systems.
The full story, in this lovely history lesson, by Brad Frost, that traces the evolution of themeable user interfaces from the first GUIs to today’s design tokens: https://bradfrost.com/blog/post/the-history-of-themeable-user-interfaces/

Also, yes, the reuse of the clouds as bushes in this game is genius, and cannot

@carnage4life This is Apple's one-sided insinuation. They have an incentive to make EU look irrational, and their AI powerful.

The EU AI Act is about high-risk systems (AGI, behavioral manipulation, use in law enforcement, socio-economic decisions). A slightly new take on voice and machine translation, that Apple already ships in the EU, doesn't clear the bar.

Apple got medical device approvals in lots countries (EU too). They can understand & meet legal requirements _when they want to_.

The one thing I didn’t expect from the Donkey Kong Bananza Direct was @imyke starting a round of the Quizzies in the background.
The hot takes from @imyke really had the same vibe as the TV channel surfing segments in Hollywood movies with outraged editorialists making bad puns about the hero, it was awesome !

Probablement.
