The bill H.R. 7661 (Stop the Sexualization of Children Act) is still in the house and threatens to pull funding from both school and public libraries! Any book with sexual content or depictions of trans people could be pulled from shelves. Say goodbye to your spicy romance books friends. And if you think they'll stop at censoring what books can be in libraries, I envy your optimism.

The Federal Reserve is taking comments on whether they should intervene with banks who decline to allow transactions they find distasteful. Debankment makes it difficult for creators to sell their art if the financial institutions that handle their transactions decline to allow it.
Debankment is a form of censorship, in my opinion, and I hate the idea of corporate overlords deciding whether or not I can sell my spicy little ebook or not.
