Trying out the fediverse for the first time today. I've been reading a lot about it, now it's time to figure out how it works and build an internet home here.

My goal is to figure out how I can bring https://gobikecamping.com/ into the fediverse and help people who love bike touring own their data and escape the metaverse.

@chartgerink oh fun! the helmet is a giro ember, it's super old but i love the bright pink as well 🥰
@ysbreker don't be too much, the weather was terrible but the fall foliage was stunning along the way at least. i had planned to camp the entire time but constant rain and the shorter daylight hours limited these ambitions. 😅

i bikepacked solo from berlin to copenhagen in wind & storms over the last 6 days! i camped half of that time, including a scary night of high winds and downpours on the southern danish coast.

total distance: 551.7km

also, i'm looking for a new job! i'm a senior fullstack engineer, previously working at GitHub on Issues & Projects, mainly working in Typescript, React, Ruby on Rails. I prefer remote or hybrid in Berlin (or Iceland). I'm friendly, empathetic and tenacious problem-solver.

is anyone else looking for new job & want to practice leetcodes? or, if you are employed, want help me practice mock coding interviews?

i'd like to meet regularly irl in berlin or on online!

i'm senior level & never had to do these to get a job in the past. so i'm only now ever preparing for these awful assessments :(

(i'm doing them in typescript btw)

my only favorite thing about the test sirens in berlin today is it activated my little wolf 🐺 arooooooooo
officially an annoying dual passport person now
@yatil yea, since last year! And berlin has fully digitalized the process. it took a little less than 6 months from when i applied to be processed & approved!

how it started how it's going

(i received german citizenship today!!)
