Are "the good parties" willing to admit they really went about it the wrong way and turn this feature into an add-on AND/OR offer a simple way to disable it on Android? Or should we expect more gaslighting, corporate speak and Facebook colabs?

@floresophize As many others here, I just made it very clear they can't reach me on WhatsApp - the recent AI nonsense is what finally made me uninstall it (I was only using it for work-related stuff anyway). Close friends, family and quite a few of my coworkers were surprisingly understanding. Anybody else can just call or e-mail me if it's important enough.

@jeffjarvis As surprising as it may seem, his COVID stance and many other questionable acts make his late-career stage a truly engaging story. He IS one of the best sportsmen to have ever picked up a racket and, even though I was never a fan, his tunnel vision mentality, the stubborn refusal to let go is a huge part of what made him so successful. It seems he's been applying that to his everyday life too, often with baffling consequences. Jury's out still, but the story's fascinating.
