I’m migrating to @ssoriche. The process seems straightforward and doesn’t appear to require anyone else do anything.

We thought we knew how Voyager would end. The power would gradually, inevitably, run down. The instruments would shut off, one by one. The signal would get fainter. Eventually either the last instrument would fail for lack of power, or the signal would be lost.
We didn’t expect that it would go mad.

Not sure who might need this reminder but “being professional” is not the emotionless void that so many people think it is. That forced formality is an artifact of middle managers trying to sound more educated.
You can be professional while being warm and conversational and speaking plainly. A professional speaking or writing register is only formal enough to ensure you are clear and inoffensive.
Recently I posted an ad to hire for a #php developer. I was able to fill that role, but I have dozens of well-qualified developers who DIDN'T get the gig who are still looking.
I'd like to pass them onto you for your shop.
If you're hiring for a PHP role, please reach out to me at [email protected] with your job descriptions and whether you're hiring in the US or Europe (or both!) I'd love to connect you.
Please boost for reach/visibility.
In 2022, for a huge #Perl project, I spent an entire week understanding, debugging, testing, and refactoring a massive chunk of very badly written code. By the time I was done, it was much cleaner and easier to understand.
With that, I made a major discovery. The code wasn't used. I could have simply deleted it.
